 Respecting OUR ELDERS

Musgrave Park Cultural Centre encourages cross-generational teaching and learning of our culture through song and dance, storytelling, just simply getting together and celebrating our survival and our achievements, yarning while sharing a feast, and establishing those special days for our Elders.  Supporting our Elders' participation in community celebrations and cross-cultural events for all.

We continue to acknowledge our Community Elders, some who have passed on, who originate from diverse tribal groups from across Australia, and have made Brisbane their home over the past thirty to fifty years; and have actively participated in and showed leadership to our communities; who stand strong in who they are - and where they come from, and sharing their cultural knowledge.
